Pop star Justin Bieber finds himself under investigation for an alleged assault that occurred at an Italian restaurant on Sunset Blvd. According to reports, Bieber got into separate altercations with two bartenders at the Sarafina Italian restaurant on the 8700 block of Sunset Blvd. on February 11th.

Police received a call around 2 a.m. from a witness who reported the altercations. The witness went on to state that they had intervened in the altercations in an attempt to break them up. The bartenders then asked Bieber to leave, a request which the singer refused. Shortly thereafter, Bieber allegedly got into another argument – this time with a patron – which ended when Bieber allegedly head-butted the person.

Neither the restaurant, the bartenders, or the patron elected to press charges against Bieber. According to a spokeswoman for the restaurant: “We know very little about the alleged incident at Serafina with Justin Bieber, but we can assure you that nobody from our staff was involved, nor did we call the police.” The spokeswoman continued, stating that the “experiences with Mr. Bieber at the restaurant are always pleasant.”

With nobody involved in the alleged incident electing to press charges, it’s unlikely that Bieber will face anything as a result of the investigation. If anyone changes their minds, it could result in the singer facing assault charges. Assault is a misdemeanor in California, with the possible penalties of up to 6 months in county jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000.

This isn’t the first time Bieber found himself caught up in troubles with the law. In March of 2013, a neighbor complained about Bieber speeding down the residential street where he owned a home. In June of 2013, a paparazzo sued Bieber for assaulting him at a mall. In November of 2013, Bieber was questioned by Brazilian police in regards to leaving graffiti on a wall. Last, in January of 2014, Bieber’s cell phone was confiscated by police in connection to alleged vandalism involving Bieber throwing eggs at his neighbor’s home.
