The pandemic may be raging onwards, but the Omicron variant won’t stop Los Angelinos from celebrating New Year’s Eve with crowds of others. Some yearly events have been postponed this time around, but for those who are looking to get out and about for the holiday, there are still plenty of things to do.

  • Santa Monica Pub Crawl – Registration begins at Barney’s Beanery or Circle Bar at 6pm sharp. You’ll get free entry to multiple Santa Monica hot spots and will be able to party until 2 am New Years Day!
  • For something a little more upscale, why not try out New Year’s Eve by the Sea Celebration at Hotel Casa Del Mar? Tickets are $325 per person but include a three-course meal, parking (one car per person), three premium drinks, and party favors.
  • LA New Year’s Eve Moonlight Pier Pressure Cruise 2022 – Party your way into the new year on a luxury yacht in Marina Del Rey. the 4-hour cruise includes VIP and gen admission bar, 3 decks of entertainment, and over 400 people expected to attend.

If you decide to head out and celebrate this year, remember to set yourself up with a safe ride to and from where you’re going. DUI-related crashes, arrests, and fatalities always spike around the holidays, and you don’t want to be caught up in any of it.

If you aren’t traveling far, get someone in your friends group to act as designated driver, or chip in for a cab/Uber/Lyft. If you are traveling far, make sure to look into someplace to stay to help keep you off the roads late at night.

There will likely be DUI checkpoints set up throughout the city, as well as scheduled saturation patrols and enhanced law enforcement when it comes to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Whatever you decide to do, have a safe and happy New Year’s from all of us at Adventure Bail Bonds.
