SDSD Inmate Locator

The Morongo Basin Jail is the third largest jail facility in San Bernardino County. Deputies working out of this location provide law enforcement services for the communities of Twenty-Nine Palms and Yucca Valley, as well as the unincorporated areas of Morongo Valley, Landers, Johnson Valley, Joshua Tree, Wonder Valley, Pioneertown, Amboy, Cadiz, and Flamingo Heights.

Individuals who are arrested in any of these areas will be taken to the Morongo Basin Jail where they will undergo booking and processing. Once booking and processing has been completed, bail will be set and it will be possible to obtain an inmate’s release via bail bond.

Arrest and Booking Process

When someone is arrested in one of the areas listed above, they will be brought immediately to the Morongo Basin Jail where they will undergo the booking and processing procedure. Arrestees will have their picture taken, fingerprints recorded, and then a comprehensive national background check will be conducted to look for additional warrants. The duration of booking and processing will depend entirely upon how busy the jail is at the time the arrestee was brought in, though it usually falls somewhere between 45-minutes and 4-hours.

It is impossible to bail someone out until booking and processing has been completed, no matter how long the process takes. However, that doesn’t mean that the process can’t begin while the inmate is awaiting their turn for booking and processing. As a matter of fact, the earlier the bail bond process has begun, the faster we can get your friend or loved one out of police custody.

The Bail Bond Process

It isn’t difficult to bail someone out of jail, nor does it take very long. It starts by giving us a call and providing us with some general information about the person you want to bail out so we can locate him or her within the system and verify their eligibility for bail. We then have you fill out the bail bond application forms and sign the indemnitor’s agreement. Finally, we provide you with a receipt and send a bail agent to the jail to post the bond. Your friend or loved one will be released a short time later. All of our bail forms are straightforward and to the point, though if you have any questions, we’re happy to go over them with you.

If you find yourself unable to meet with us in person, or simply feel more comfortable handling the bail bond process from your home or office – that’s okay! We can easily work with you via phone, fax or email.

Cost and Payment Options

We will meet and beat any locally advertised price! We add no additional charges or fees when you work with us, nor do we charge interest if you choose to finance your bail bond. Our goal is to help you get your friend or loved one out of jail as fast as possible, not to put financial stress on families. For clients who are interested in financing the cost of a bail bond, we have several flexible payment plans that are designed to fit a variety of budgets. Regardless of how you choose to pay, we never include any additional fees, charges or interest.
