LASD Inmate Locator

Once someone has been arrested near Castaic Lake, they are taken to the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station for booking and processing. Once complete, bail will be set for those who are eligible and it will be possible to obtain their release via bail bond. The inmates will only remain at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station for about 72 hours, sometimes shorter if the jail gets overcrowded. If they are not bailed out within this period of time, inmates will be transferred to either Twin Towers Correctional Facility (for male inmates) or the Lynwood Jail (for female inmates). During transfer, there will be a period of up to 24 hours during which an inmate cannot be bailed out. Beginning the bail bond process while an inmate is still located at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station can often avoid the transfer process altogether.

How to Bail Someone Out Fast

When you call us, one of our bail agents will speak with you and ask you a few simple questions. It will help if you have certain information available beforehand such as the inmate’s name, birth date and date of arrest.

Once the application has been approved and the indemnitor’s agreement signed, we post the bond directly with the jail. Our bail bond process is quick and easy, and can be taken care of over the phone or via fax or email with us from the comfort of your own home.

What is an Indemnitor?

An indemnitor is the person who signs the bail bond. When you bail someone out of jail, they still have to show up for court and it is the person who signs the bail bond that will be held responsible if the inmate does not do so. As such, it is highly advisable that you only bail out those whom you know and trust.

Once their case has been completed, and the judge signs off on it, the bail bond will be exonerated and the signer will not be held responsible any further.
