It’s the 4th of July weekend once again, and after over a year of staying mostly at home, Los Angelinos are ready to get out of the house and celebrate Independence Day. Typically, holidays in Los Angeles are heralded by indoor and outdoor celebrations, events, and parties. Last year, grouping up and celebrating was a no-go, but this year things are different. Below are a few events being held to celebrate the 4th of July 2021 in Los Angeles.
AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl
If you’re into big celebrations, then AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl is one of the largest in the area. Shortly after the doors open up, you can expect to find several family-friendly activities and events early on, as well as motocross stunts and a tribute to JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratories). Make sure to get a good seat, as fireworks kick off at 9 pm.
Cinespia Cemetery Screenings
Cemetery movie screenings are back this summer, and for the weekend of the 4th of July, you’ll be treated to viewings of Dazed and Confused, and Dirty Dancing, capped off with a fireworks show finale. If you plan to go, make sure to bring sunscreen and plenty of fluids, as the weekend is going to be a hot one.
Huntington Beach Pier Festival
If you’re ready to brave the beaches once again (and who isn’t?), the family-friendly activities at the Huntington Beach Pier Festival include entertainment, food, a beer & wine garden, and a prime view of the fireworks show in the evening.
These are just a few of the many activities you and your family can enjoy this 4th of July weekend, 2021. Remember to keep you and yours safe this weekend by minding heat warnings and keeping yourselves hydrated. As always, if you choose to enjoy alcohol this weekend, make sure you have a safe ride home.
From all of us at the Adventure Bail Bonds family, have a safe and happy 4th of July!
