Despite the fact that the Glendale Jail has only 96 beds, 500-700 inmates are processed through it’s doors every month, making it the third busiest jail in Los Angeles County.

The jail was opened in 2005 as a state-of-the-art facility utilizing a new “podular” design. It’s designed more like a college dormitory than a jail, with the cells built around a common area. Each “pod” has its own supervisory officer.

Visiting Hours at Glendale Jail

Visiting hours at the Glendale Jail are conducted via video between the hours of 1pm to 4pm daily. Each visit is limited to 15 minutes, with a total of two visits allowed daily per inmate. Only one person is allowed to visit the inmate per appointment.

Arrest and Booking Process

When someone is arrested and taken to the Glendale Jail, they will need to be booked and processed into the system before they are put into a cell. This procedure includes taking the inmate’s photograph, recording their fingerprints and conducting a national background check. Once complete, bail will be set for those who are eligible and it will be possible to secure their release via bail bond.

Bail Bond Process

The bail bond process is pretty simple. It starts with calling and providing us with some information about the inmate which we will use to locate him or her within the system and verify their eligibility for bail.

Once complete, we will have you fill out and sign the short, simple bail bond application forms and indemnitor’s agreement. After that, we will dispatch one of our agents to the jail and your friend or loved one will be released a few hours later.

If you’re unable to meet with us directly, the entire bail bond application process can be completed from start to finish via fax or email. We know times like this can be stressful, and we want your experience with us to be as easy as possible.

The Cost of a Bail Bond

We will meet and beat any locally advertised price! We add no additional charges or fees when you work with us, nor do we charge interest if you choose to finance your bail bond. Our goal is to help you get your friend or loved one out of jail as fast as possible, not to put financial stress on families. For clients who are interested in financing the cost of a bail bond, we have several flexible payment plans that are designed to fit a variety of budgets. Regardless of how you choose to pay, we never include any additional fees, charges or interest.
