Booking and Processing

Individuals arrested in Studio City will be taken to the North Hollywood Station where they will have their photographs taken, fingerprints recorded and a national background check will be conducted. This procedure is known as booking and processing and is pretty much the same at every police station. Once booking and processing is completed, bail will be set and a bail bond can be obtained.

The on-site jail at the North Hollywood Police Station isn’t set up for the long-term housing of inmates. So, anyone who isn’t bailed out quickly or granted another option for release will likely find themselves transferred to a different jail in downtown Los Angeles. Men are taken to Twin Towers while women are taken to the Lynwood Jail.

The Bail Bond Process

Bailing someone out of jail begins by calling and providing us with some basic information on the inmate. Their full name, birth date and date and time of arrest will allow us to quickly locate them within the system and verify their eligibility for bail. After that, we have you fill out and sign the bail bond application forms and indemnitor’s agreement.

The forms are pretty simple and straight-forward, but if you’d like, we’d be happy to explain them step-by-step. Once they’re all filled out we will dispatch one of our agents to the jail and your friend or loved one will be released shortly thereafter.

You’re welcome to meet us at our office, the jail, or you can complete the entire process from start to finish from wherever you want via fax or email. What’s convenient for you is always convenient for us.

Wait, What’s an Indemnitor?

The indemnitor is the signer of the bail bond (that’s you). The indemnitor’s agreement basically states that you accept financial responsibility if the defendant fails to show up at the appointed date and time to appear in court.

If they don’t show up, you will be responsible for paying the entirety of the bail amount to the court. If they do show up, then no further action is necessary, regardless of the outcome of their trial.

Paying for a Bail Bond

We accept a variety of payment options, including cash, business and personal checks, money orders, bank account transfer, money wire and major credit/debit cards (American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa).

We will meet and beat any locally advertised price! We add no additional charges or fees when you work with us, nor do we charge interest if you choose to finance your bail bond. Our goal is to help you get your friend or loved one out of jail as fast as possible, not to put financial stress on families. For clients who are interested in financing the cost of a bail bond, we have several flexible payment plans that are designed to fit a variety of budgets. Regardless of how you choose to pay, we never include any additional fees, charges or interest.
