The Lawndale Service Center is a substation operated by the Los Angeles Sheriff Department deputies. It services the areas of Lawndale, El Camino Village, Del Aire, and Wiseburn.
Originally, the City of Lawndale and its surrounding areas were policed by deputies working out of the Lennox Station. After its closing, though, an unused senior center was converted into the Lawndale Service Center. 29 employees, including civilians and sworn officers operate out of the station.
Due to its small size, there isn’t a lot of room to hold inmates after they undergo the booking and processing procedure. As a result, most male inmates are transferred to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility while female inmates are taken to the Lynwood Jail.
What is a Bail Bond?
Bail bonds are also known as “surety bonds” and are used to offer financial incentive to the court in order to secure the release of an inmate as they await their trial.
Basically, posting bail offers up the bail amount as collateral in the event that the defendant does not meet their court obligations. If the defendant does complete all of their court obligations, then everything is fine. However, if they do not, then the signer of the bail bond will be financially responsible for paying the full amount of bail to the court. As such, it is best to only bail out those whom you know and trust.

The bail bond process begins by calling us and providing us with a little information about the inmate.
